Computer Science and Philosophy is a new degree course at Oxford, combining aspects of the two constituent subjects.  The two subjects have much in common, being based around rational inference and logic; the development of Computer Science has opened up new areas of Philosophy, such as the Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence and Computation, and ethical questions concerning Artificial Intelligence and IT in general.

Catz is one of the leading colleges for the degree; college tutors were instrumental in establishing the degree.  We take one or two students each year.
