The Master’s Talk: Enhancing the Student Experience
Join the Master, Professor Kersti Börjars, on Tuesday 29th November at 1pm GMT for the Master’s Update on Zoom.
The Master will give an overview of where College is now and take questions from across our global community. She will also take the opportunity to launch, on what is also known as Giving Tuesday, The Master’s Fund for Enhancing the Student Experience.
“At St Catherine’s, our aim is to challenge and support our students to reach their full potential academically and beyond. The tutorial system at the heart of the Oxford education provides an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of their chosen field of study, to develop their own ideas and to explore them with experienced tutors. But the student experience at Catz goes far beyond the academic arena. We want to ensure that our students are given ample opportunity to develop as individuals, to find their own voice, to find out more about the world around them, to take their interests further and to develop new ones.”
Professor Kersti Börjars
With the Master’s Fund for Enhancing the Student Experience, we want to provide funding that makes it possible for all our students to broaden and deepen their experience at Oxford and at Catz both academically and beyond. The fund is open to all students at St Catherine’s to apply for funding to enhance their time here.
If you would like to join the Master’s Update, please book your place below to receive the Zoom link.
