Economics & Management

St Catherine’s was among the first group of colleges to admit undergraduates for the Economics and Management degree.

The College is located next door to the Economics Department building, giving our students easy access to the main Social Sciences library and an advantage in making it on time to morning lectures.

The tutors’ research interests cover a broad range, including microeconomic theory, international economics, econometrics, strategic management, agent-based modelling, and interdisciplinary management research.

St Catherine’s has one of the larger college libraries in the university, a convenient place to work as well as borrow books, open until midnight, weekdays, during term time. The library contains all books for the Economics & Management reading lists.

Typical careers of Economics & Management alumni include investment banking, management consultancy, finance, academia, financial journalism etc.

The College also has a thriving community of postgraduate students working in economics, management and other related subjects.
