While the St Catherine’s normally admits only one or two History and Economics students per year, it has a large number of undergraduates studying History or Economics in combination with other subjects. This means that there are plenty of other students within St Catherine’s with which to discuss work.

St Catherine’s has one of the larger college libraries in the university, a convenient place to work as well as borrow books, open until midnight during term.

The College is located next door to the Department of Economics. The Social Science Library is also next door, which is a convenient place to work and contains all the books and journals that students of Economics might need in the course of their undergraduate career. The History Faculty is slightly further away but still within easy walking distance of the College.
