St Catz Offer-holders’ day 2023

On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome 96 of our UK-based undergraduate offer-holders’ to Catz for our first ever in-person offer-holders’ day. Participants were welcomed to the College by our Master, Professor Kersti Borjars, and Catherine the College Dog before taking tours of the site and meeting with tutors and current students in their subjects.

Friends and family were also offered tours of the College throughout the day, and many cups of tea and coffee were consumed in the JCR. It was great to meet our offer-holders’ and their friends/families, and we look forward to welcoming them to Catz in October.

We are very much looking forward to meeting many more of our offer-holders’ at our virtual welcome event on Friday 3rd March.

“I didn’t apply to Catz nor was I interviewed here so it was really useful to actually see the college and meet the tutors! [It was] Lovely to meet the other people on my course as well.”

“I found being grouped by subject really useful, being able to speak with students currently studying your course was definitely insightful.”

“Speaking to current students really helped, even the little things like everyone having name badges with their subjects on was a great touch! I thought it was very well organised, little to improve on!”
