Catz at Cannes

Last summer, St Catherine’s College grounds were transformed into an elite private school for Jessica Hausner’s new film, Club Zero, which had its premiere at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival on 22 May, 2023. One of the most anticipated foreign films of 2023, it stars Mia Wasikowska, Mathieu Demy, Elsa Zylberstein, Amir El-Masry and Sidse Babett Knudsen, and depicts a teacher who takes a job at an elite school and forms a strong bond with five students – a relationship that eventually takes a dangerous turn.
