Sir Matthew Pinsent (1989, Geography) to umpire 2025 Women’s Boat Race

Sir Matthew Pinsent (1989, Geography) has been announced as the Umpire for the 2025 Women’s CHANEL J12 Boat Race. Sir Pinsent is an English rower and broadcaster who has won 10 world championship gold medals and four consecutive Olympic gold medals. While at Catz, he served as the Boat Club President and raced in three of the annual boat races, winning two.
