The Gap of Time

The Gap of Time: The Winter’s Tale Retold (Hogarth Press, 2016)

The first in a series of reimagined Shakespeare plays, commissioned by Hogarth Press to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, The Gap of Time is a retelling of his penultimate play ‘The Winter’s Tale’. Set in contemporary London, Jeanette’s ‘cover version ‘ vibrates with echoes of the original and tells a story of hearts broke and hearts healed, a story of revenge and forgiveness, a story that shows that whatever is lost shall be found.
