Professor Eleanor Stride to become Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering

St Catherine’s is delighted to see our Fellow in Engineering Science, Professor Eleanor Stride, elected as Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Professor Stride has won recognition for her outstanding engineering accomplishment in diverse areas, thanks to her research achievements in the development of micro and nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery, as evidenced by her publications, patent/spin-out engagement, and awards, including the 2014 A F Harvey Prize.

She has also actively advanced the public presentation of engineering in broadcasting, exhibitions, lectures and videos, and has worked as a most effective advocate in advancing the cause and ideals of engineering.

Eleanor’s work makes her incredibly deserving of this Fellowship, and we extend our warmest congratulations on this achievement.
