Mark Simpson & Castalian String Quartet

Join us in Oxford at the historic Holywell Music Room for the world premiere of composer and St Catherine’s alum, Mark Simpson’s, newest work for Clarinet Quintet. Made possible with the generous support of Priscylla Shaw, Simpson’s Clarinet Quintet has been commissioned to celebrate the 60th anniversary of St Catherine’s establishment as a College.

In this concert, Mark Simpson performs his own Clarinet Quintet with the award-winning Castalian Quartet alongside Brahms’ well-loved Clarinet Quintet in B minor, Op. 115.
