Make a difference: Join our September 2025 Telethon Team!

We are excited to announce we are recruiting for our 2025 Telethon Team and would like to invite all  students to apply to become Telethon Callers. This year’s Telethon offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with Catz alumni while raising much-needed funds for key College initiatives. Here’s why you’ll want to be a part of it:

Earn money whilst making a meaningful impact: Your conversations will not only inform our alumni and help them feel connected to Catz, but will help raise essential funds that benefit scholarships, academic prizes, outreach work, travel grants, facilities, and much more.

Boost your skills and your CV: From communication to persuasion and networking, you’ll develop a host of transferable skills that will serve you well in future studies and careers.

Be part of a great team: Join a dynamic team of fellow students who share your passion for Catz. As a Telethon Caller, you’ll enjoy lively conversations, forge new connections, and create lasting memories.

Key Details:

1. As a Telethon Caller you’ll be earning £13.68 per hour (£12.21 hourly pay plus £1.47 holiday pay), and will be working approximately 55 hours over the course of the campaign. If all shifts are completed, you could earn £752.00 from the comfort of your home.
2. The Telethon will run virtually from Monday 15 September to Monday 29 September, meaning you can take part from wherever you are and do not have to be in College. However if you do not have a secure space to work in, we can arrange accommodation in College.
3. We’ll be holding an information and doughnut session in Quad Room 14.2 from 4-5pm on Tuesday, 6 May – you can just drop in, but to help us know roughly how many doughnuts to provide, let us know by 5pm on May 5^th  if you’d like to come.
4. Applications are due by Sunday, 25 May and interviews will be held in person in 6^th week on 3 and 4 June.
