Lodge Porter (evenings)-closing date 11 November

St Catherine’s College is seeking to appoint a Lodge Porter (Evenings). St Catherine’s main reception area, its Porters’ Lodge, plays a crucial role in the College community as the reception point for all students, staff and visitors. You will play a key role in delivering the high standards of reception and security services. A busy customer-facing role, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be resourceful.

We are one of the newest and largest colleges in the University of Oxford. We combine the traditions expected of an Oxford College with a highly successful international conference business, and seek to apply a forward-looking approach to every aspect of the way we run and operate.

The post is for 59 hours per fortnight.

The typical working pattern is:
Saturday – Sunday 17:00 – 24:00, followed by Monday to Friday 15:00 – 24:00 – (7 days on, 7 days off). Work patterns may vary according to the needs of the College.

The salary for this post is £14.19 per hour.
