Congratulations on your place at St Catz!
This information is for those joining our community in the academic year 2025-26.
Here, you’ll find important information, which you should read carefully, as well as tasks, which you are required to complete in advance of arriving in Oxford.
Most of your questions should be answered below, however, if you find that you have a question not answered below then please direct it to the Admissions Office.
We’re glad to have you join the Catz community and hope you feel proud and excited about embarking on your journey with us at the University of Oxford.
Pre-arrival Tasks
- Complete and return your card form as instructed
- GRADUATE students should return this card form to acreturns@admin.ox.ac.uk OR complete the online form via the graduate portal. If you have already filled this out on the graduate portal you do not have to complete it again.
- UNDERGRADUATE students should return this card form to freshers.mailings@stcatz.ox.ac.uk.
- Register with the College GP doctor
- Acquire your academic dress and sub fusc (if relevant to your course)
- Register with the University: you can only do this from September, once you have received your Oxford Single Sign On. You must complete the online part of registration before enrolment in 0th week.
- Declare a disability or long-term condition
- Make a request for a particular type of undergraduate accommodation, owing to a long-term condition, disability or religious belief by midday 27th August.
- Once you have your Oxford email, freshers without a UK or Irish passport should complete this form about your visa or immigration status.
- Sign and return your College Contract (You will be emailed by the College Office in September.)
- Sign and return your Residential Agreement (You should have received an email from Accommodation.)
- Book an arrival slot if arriving on Sunday 5th October (Undergraduates will be emailed by the Lodge in late September.)

Freshers’ Week and beyond
All undergraduates should arrive on Sunday 5th October 2025, if they have not been granted leave to arrive early.
Undergraduates and Visiting Students will enrol on Monday morning; Graduates will enrol on Wednesday morning. Please ensure you have completed online registration, completed the visa form (if you do not hold a UK or Irish passport) and that you bring relevant identity documents and not photocopies or photos. You should bring a photocard ID or passport if you hold a UK or Irish passport; a passport if you do not).
