Fighting Back: Seeking Justice In The U.S. Courtroom

On Tuesday 24 October 2017, we were delighted to welcome back alumnus and California trial lawyer Paul Llewellyn (1994, Jurisprudence) to Catz, accompanied by his colleague Marc Lewis. Llewellyn and Lewis delivered a lecture detailing their groundbreaking work in bringing civil lawsuits throughout the United States on behalf of survivors of childhood sexual abuse.  Often overcoming significant legal hurdles, their firm has successfully recovered millions of dollars on behalf of their clients, while at the same time helping to drive institutional change to protect children from abuse.
