Eleanor Stride Announced as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Engineering

St Catherine’s is delighted to announce that Fellow, Professor Eleanor Stride, has been announced as one of the top 100 Most Influential Women in the Engineering Sector. On hearing the news, Eleanor told us she was ‘surprised and thrilled’ to feature on the list.

The list of Influential Women is produced by board appointments firm, Inclusive Boards, in partnership with the Financial Times, and recognises the achievements of senior women in engineering. The list will be released officially at the Inclusive Boards: Engineering Leadership Conference on 22 October 2019.

Eleanor Stride is the Statutory Professor of Biomaterials in the Departments of Engineering Science and the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences. She specialises in the fabrication of nano and microscale devices for targeted drug delivery.

Eleanor became a Fellow of St Catherine’s College in 2011, and became a full Professor in 2014.
