Catz graduate student hosts exhibition on Oxford’s religious diversity
Catz student and photographer Arturo Soto (2016, Fine Art) is putting on an exhibition at Oxford’s Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies, on view until March. The exhibition, titled Those Who Follow, is a photographic exploration of religious diversity in Oxford.
Confronting us with buildings we might pass every day, that our part of our lives but that we don’t often pause to consider, the exhibition affords us the opportunity to reflect on those that by contrast are prominent, distinctive, and immediately communicate ideas about faith. It explores how these buildings work, both as spaces of worship and as places of the community.
