Catz Calling!

The College has continued its successful streak of Telethon campaigns – thanks to you!

Our student callers contacted nearly 600 alumni and friends over the Easter break, filling them in on news of life at Catz, as well as raising funds for the College. Of the people we spoke to, 63% chose to support us, which raised over £200,000. The final total included a matching donation of over £40,000 from a Catz alumni couple, to whom we are deeply grateful for supporting us so generously! We want to thank everyone who took the time to speak to our students and contributed to the campaign.

The Telethon also gives our students a unique opportunity to hear first-hand about the Catz of the past. Student caller Jasmine Proteau (2017, History) told us: “I loved hearing about alumni experiences at College, especially the fact that many of them had made friendships that lasted years (even decades) after they graduated. I was also amazed at how many alumni had married one another! I hope to have the chance to meet some of them at future alumni events.”
