Accommodation Officer (fixed-term) -closing date 1 May

St Catherine’s College is seeking to appoint a fixed-term Accommodation Officer for up to 8 months to cover a period of maternity leave. This post is responsible for all aspects of the College’s accommodation operations, overseeing the college’s accommodation portfolio in its entirety, allocations, tenancy and occupancy agreements.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, as well as liaising with staff at all levels in order to balance the requirements of a range of stakeholders, including students, Fellows and conference guests.

The annual salary is set within the range £29,605 – £31,396 pro rata comprising 35 hours per week. In return, we offer a range of benefits including lunch without charge, free use of the College gym and travel season ticket loans.

You will need to be a positive, organised, individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills who is committed to putting the needs of our customers first. This role requires an eye for detail, a flexible approach, discretion and the ability to take the initiative when resolving challenging situations. The ability to use Microsoft Excel is essential, and a familiarity with Oxford colleges would be advantageous.
