Communications & Marketing Officer – closing date 5 January
One of the newest and largest Colleges within the University of Oxford, St Catherine’s, is looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer. This is a crucial role which offers an exciting opportunity to promote the College to a wide variety of people.
The Communications and Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting the Head of Communications and Marketing to develop and deliver strategic, creative, and impactful communications for St Catz. Working across digital and print channels, the post-holder will help bring the College’s stories to life – showcasing its academic excellence, vibrant community, and distinctive architecture and spirit to internal and external audiences.
They will assist in implementing the College’s communications and marketing plan, managing day-to-day activity across web, email, and social media, producing engaging content, and supporting campaigns and publications. The role will also help to ensure the consistency and quality of the College’s communications, contribute to brand development, and evaluate the impact of activity.
You will have excellent literacy, communication and IT skills, together with an ability to interact with people at all levels and from all backgrounds. An active interest in e-communications and marketing is essential. You will be expected to manage competing demands on your time successfully, have an eye for detail, and work well by yourself and as part of a small team.
The salary is within the range £29,588 – £33,951 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience, comprising 35 hours per week. In addition, benefits include 30 days annual leave, free lunches, free use of the College gym and a season ticket loan scheme for travel.
