Louise Fawcett is CUF Lecturer in Politics and Wilfrid Knapp Fellow and Tutor in Politics. She teaches the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and Modern History and Politics (MP) courses in International Relations and Middle East politics. She also contributes to the teaching of the MPhil programme in International Relations. Her research interests include the history, politics and international relations of developing countries. She is the author of Iran and the Cold War; coeditor and contributor to Regionalism in World Politics (with Andrew Hurrell), The Third World beyond the Cold War (with Yezid Sayigh) and Regionalism and Governance in the Americas (with Monica Serrano). She is also the editor of International Relations of the Middle East (Oxford, 2005), a revised and expanded edition of which was published in 2009.
