Katritzky Lecture

Katritzky Lecture

Presenting to a full Lecture Theatre in the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory - and an 'overflow' audience in the Abbotts Kitchen - on Tuesday 10th November, Chemistry Nobel Laureate Roger Tsien ForMemRS gave a stunning 2015 Katritzky Lecture entitled Molecules against cancer of for long-term memory storage.

This Katritzky lecture, the 6th in the series, derives from the generous benefaction of the late Professor Alan Katritzky FRS and, on this occasion, was a joint event between St Catherine's College and the Department of Chemistry.

The photograph shows Roger and Wendy Tsien receiving a framed copy of the Katritzky Lecture 2015 announcement, together with Roger Ainsworth (Master of St Catherine's College), Rupert Katritzky and Peter Edwards.
