The Telephone Campaign is a fantastic way for us to stay connected with our alumni and an essential part of our regular fundraising. Each year the campaign allows us to update you on the latest Catz news and to thank you for your support to the college, whilst also giving our students the opportunity to hear about your time at Catz.

If you have any questions about the Autumn 2020 Telephone Campaign, please contact Tal Williams, Development Officer, on development.office@stcatz.ox.ac.uk or +44(0)1865 271692.

Meet the March 2020 Student Callers

Dan StandingHi, I'm Dan and I'm a third-year biochemist at Catz. I'm very grateful for all the amazing opportunities that have been offered to me as a student at Catz. For example, last summer I was fortunate enough to be a recipient of a college travel award, which allowed me to pursue voluntary work at a school in China. To relax, I enjoy swimming, playing squash, and have recently picked up pottery as a quarantine hobby. I'm really looking forward to connecting with Catz alumni and supporting the Catz community through participating in the Telethon!
Emma WeitzmanHello, I'm Emma, a second year PPE student at Catz. I'm really looking forward to speaking with the Catz community and comparing experiences of College life.
Grace OlusolaHello! My name is Grace Olusola and I am just starting my second year studying History and English at Catz. This year I am the Female Welfare Rep for the college and last year I was in the ensemble of the inaugural Catz musical, RENT! I’m really looking forward to seeing the pandemic-inspired creativity in Oxford this year and have already participated in some online theatre and socially distanced student film. I can’t wait to chat to alumni and connect with the history of Catz through them, as college life is probably my favourite thing about university. It is also a privilege to be able to raise funds to help as much as possible in these amazingly indescribable times.
Ishani ShahHello! I’m a second year Biochemist. When I’m not working you will find me at drama rehearsals: in my first year I was involved in the Keble O’Reilly production of Chicago and I was the assistant director for the inaugural Catz musical: RENT. I really enjoy getting to know people and look forward to connecting with the Catz community and sharing stories!
Rebecca SearleHi, I'm Becca, and I'm a second year studying English Lit at Catz! I am so happy to be back at Catz now, and I'm hoping to still be able to get involved with college life, despite new restrictions. Last year I helped with the sound in the Catz musical, RENT, and I am the Production Manager for this year's musical. I am really looking forward to speaking to alumni and hearing about their time at Catz, and sharing stories and experiences with them!
Robyn Harvey-SmithHello, I am Robyn, a third-year lawyer at Catz. When I'm not doing my degree, I am often found playing football for our successful Catz women's team. Last year I was the LGBTQ+ rep on the JCR Committee, so I like to get involved in JCR events and activism. I am very involved in college life, so I look forward to speaking to alumni about what has changed and stayed the same about Catz over the years!
Jenai ChinoyHi! My name is Jenai, and I’m a 3rd year student at Catz, studying medicine. Outside of my degree, I play college football and also volunteer as a student ambassador. I am really excited to get chatting to alumni about their experiences at Catz, as well as contributing to raising money for the college.
