Scout (Cleaner)

Are you a friendly, reliable cleaner who takes pride in your work? If so, we would like to hear from you.

St Catherine’s College is one of the newest and largest Colleges within the University of Oxford. We are now looking for an experienced cleaner (Scout) to join our busy team to clean rooms and communal areas within the college.

As well as a welcoming and supportive working atmosphere, we offer a range of benefits including pension, meals without charge whilst on duty, season ticket loans and free use of the College gym.

The post is for 20 hours per week and the rate of pay is £8.73 an hour.

St Catz Alumni recognised in New Year Honours

Three members of the St Catherine's community have been recognised in the 2018 New Year's Honours list.

For services to the Energy Sector, Joanna Coleman (1986, Engineering) has been awarded an OBE. In her role as Director of Strategy for the Energy Technologies Institute, Jo has been committed to her work in the field of low carbon technology and innovation.

Catz students go for Gold at iGEM competition

The 2017 Oxford iGEM team, which includes two St Catz students, returned from the annual competition in Boston, USA, with a Gold medal and  the extremely competitive award for Best Diagnostics Project in the undergraduate category. The iGEM competition challenges interdisciplinary teams of students to spend the summer working on applying Synthetic Biology to address real world issues.
