Head of Food and Beverage Services / College Butler – closing date 28 February
St Catherine’s College is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to oversee and manage the successful delivery of all food and beverage services within the College.
The post holder will lead the team responsible for the service of food and drink to Fellows, students, staff, conference delegates, and other commercial events, and will work closely with other department heads to develop the College’s catering strategy.
This is a challenging and exciting role, which includes oversight of service in the Senior Common Room and on High Table, as well as working with College staff and Fellows to plan the arrangements for a wide variety of events.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a large, high-quality food and beverage, environment and/or extensive butler experience. Excellent people management and communication skills are essential, together with a highly organised, detail-orientated and proactive approach.
The salary is within the range £48,000 – £55,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience. In addition, benefits include 30 days annual leave, free meals whilst on duty, free use of the College gym, and a season ticket loan scheme for travel.
