Head Housekeeper – closing date 3 October

St Catherine’s College is seeking to appoint a Head Housekeeper to oversee all aspects of the Housekeeping department in one of the largest colleges within the University of Oxford.

Reporting to the Home Bursar, the post holder will be one of a tier of service managers responsible for the successful implementation of a set of common professional standards within the domestic operation of the College.

In addition to the management of a large team, the post holder will be responsible for promoting service levels that maintain rooms to core standards of cleanliness, hygiene and security, both on the main College site and also in properties owned by the College.

The successful candidate will have experience of successfully supervising a diverse team, preferably in a large educational institution, or in a large 4*/5* hotel.

The salary is £31,200 per annum. In addition, benefits include 25 days annual leave, free meals whilst on duty, free use of the College gym, and a season ticket loan scheme for travel.
