One of the newest and largest Colleges within the University of Oxford, St Catherine’s is seeking to appoint a Breakfast & Vegetable/General Chef to join its professional team in providing a quality catering service to all users of the College – from formal private dinners to large banquets for conference delegates through to meals for students.

This position would suit someone looking for a secure post in a friendly, supportive working environment. Experience of working in a similar organisation, together with a qualification in catering would be desirable, but not essential as on the job training will be given.

We are seeking a strong team player who is passionate about food, and able to meet the high standards required in a busy College Kitchen.

The salary is in the range £8.50 - £9.00 per hour.

Typical working hours are 40 hours per week, on a 5 days out of 7 basis, including some evening and weekend work.
