Catering Assistant (part-time) – closing date 8 February

St Catherine’s College is one of the newest and largest Colleges within the University of Oxford, with over 800 students, and our busy Hall caters for a wide range of dining needs – from ‘canteen-style’ service for students to formal dinners and large banquets for conference delegates.

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking Catering Assistant to join the Hall team to provide service from the servery counter and evening assistance to the duty Chef, passing prepared food to the casual waiting staff for Formal Hall dinners. Reporting to the Hall Manager, you will be responsible for providing outstanding levels of service to all those who use the Hall.

Salary: £10.51 per hour

Hours: 17 hours a week (Monday to Friday 6pm – 9pm) and Sunday lunchtime (2 hours)

Work patterns may vary and additional hours may also be available according to the needs of the College.
