John Ockendon

Dr Ockendon's research is motivated by the intellectual challenge of real world problems that need to be modelled quantitatively. He is especially involved with "mathematics in industry" which now encompasses everything from making windows to criminality and quantum computing: the resulting mathematics is as much tied to the need to validate computer algorithms as to providing unique scientific insights.
