Christoph Reisinger joined St Catherine's as a Tutorial Fellow in Mathematics in October 2006, when moving to a University Lectureship in Mathematical Finance at OCIAM. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Heidelberg University.
His research interests include the modelling of financial markets and the development, analysis and implementation of efficient methods for derivative pricing. The mathematical tools involved range from asymptotic expansions and dimension reduction techniques to the multilevel approximation of high-dimensional partial differential equations.
Christoph Reisinger is the Academic Director of the part-time MSc in Mathematical Finance and lectures on a range of topics from mathematical and computational finance.
