Ali Rogers

Ali Rogers is Lecturer in Human Geography at St Catherine's and a Fellow of Keble College. His research interests are in social and cultural geography and the history and philosophy of geography; migration, mobilities and transnational communities; cities and city life; globalization and global networks.

Ali teaches most subjects within the human geography side of the course for Prelims and Final Honour School.

He is also editor of Global Networks, an international and inter-disciplinary journal specialising in research on transnationalism and globalization. It is among the top-rated journals worldwide in anthropology, geography and sociology.

Ali also writes textbooks for all levels of geography students, from secondary school to advanced study. He is currently collaborating on a new dictionary of Human Geography for Oxford University Press.
