St Catherine’s College is seeking to appoint a fixed term Conference Administrator to cover a period of maternity leave (12 months).

The Conference Administrator plays an important role in facilitating the delivery of an unrivalled level of service to the College’s conference community and further developing the College’s conference business. One of the newest and largest colleges within the University of Oxford, St Catherine’s also has the largest conference operation.

Working as part of a small, busy team, you will be at the forefront of handling client relationships and a first point of contact for conference-related enquiries. Key responsibilities will include handling conference-related enquiries, issuing contracts, and marketing the College’s conference facilities.

You will need to be a positive and enthusiastic individual who has outstanding written and verbal communication skills and who is committed to putting the needs of our customers first. This is a challenging role that requires excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills, an eye for detail and the ability to adopt a flexible approach. Experience of client relationship management and the ability to use Microsoft Excel are essential, and a familiarity with Oxford colleges would be advantageous.

The salary is set within the range £25,769 - £28,143 per annum, comprising 35 hours per week. In addition, benefits include 30 days annual leave, lunch without charge whilst on duty, car parking, season ticket loans for travel and free use of the College gym.
