Getting all animated over science education

As an educational establishment, St Catz is all about finding accessible ways to teach the next generation. That's why we are so pleased with the recent achievements of our Alum, Keith Ross (1963, Metallurgy), who has written and narrated the scripts for a series of animated videos which are designed to help children study and revise for their science exams.

Fuseschool, who create the videos, have a library of over 250 four-minute chemistry videos covering the whole of the GCSE curriculum. Keith has authored and voiced 35 of them, mostly relating to the chemistry of the environment and climate change. “They are available world-wide, free, and get 50,000 views per day:, explains Keith. “I particularly like this one which explains one of the most important chemical reaction on the planet: photosynthesis”.

You can watch Keith's videos, and the whole Fuseschool animation library by visiting their website.
