Welfare is under the general direction of the Dean, Dr. Marc Mulholland.

The Dean acts as Senior Treasurer of Clubs, advising on sporting and other clubs in College and as custodian of the clubs finances, in consultation with the student captains or organisers of the clubs.
The Dean also deals with disciplinary matters, such as antisocial behaviour, and in which he is assisted by resident Junior Deans who also often act as a first line of communication between the students and the Dean and are qualified advisers who deal with many aspects of personal welfare.

The College Nurse, Mrs Ennis Frankum, attends in College every day and is the initial contact in cases of minor illness or accident and acts in consultation with the College Doctor, Dr. Gordon Gancz, who has a surgery in the middle of Oxford.

When students seek advice about personal problems, they can approach one of the panel of College Advisors, who include both a male and a female Fellow who are also Harassment Advisors. For other matters, students can contact the University Student Counselling Service which is staffed by qualified counsellors.
