Teaching
I teach all areas of Spanish for Prelims papers and modern Spanish American literature for the Final Honours School.
Research Interests
My research centres on contemporary poetry in Latin America. I recently published a book entitled Modern Argentine Poetry (University of Wales Press) and am currently undertaking a study of the poetry of Juan Gelman as well as continuing my research on contemporary Argentine poetry (in particular Cristian Aliaga and Sergio Raimondi) and beginning a project on film adaptation of poetry, with a particular focus on the gaucho genre.
