Pint of Science Festival

Pint of Science Festival

Students and Postdocs from the University, including members of Catz MCR, are helping organise this year's Pint of Science Festival in Oxford, taking place from 23rd-25th May 2016.

Pint of Science is an annual festival, which takes place over three consecutive evenings simultaneously in multiple cities around the globe. Researchers come and explain their findings to the public in the comfort of a pub.

The selection of talks encompass a diverse range of subjects, ranging from Understanding Cancer to Artificial Intelligence to The Heart of the Matter to Friendship and Social Networking. Each talk is hosted by one of four participating pubs: St Aldates Tavern, The Oxford Retreat, Slug and Lettuce or Joe Perks & Co.

This is a chance to meet the people responsible for the future of science.
