Louise Fawcett publishes new book

Professor of International Relations, Louise Fawcett, has published a new edition of International Relations of the Middle East.

As well as providing a thematic overview of the subject, combining a history of the region with analysis of key themes, actors, and conflicts, as well as topical material and perspectives and bringing together carefully edited contributions from an international team of experts, this new edition contains a new chapter on the Arab Spring and its impact. It also includes an increased number of case studies to demonstrate the relevance of theory to practice and end-of-chapter questions to encourage students to check their understanding and reflect on their learning.

The book offers a wide range of perspectives, encouraging students to think critically to formulate their own arguments and opinions and combines a clear and accessible writing style with a range of learning features and online support to aid understanding and revision, and to promote further study.
